A story taking place in current times. Raphael is an average teenager, son of a single mother, who finds himself being stalked by a mysterious cult. They claim he's their evil god reincarnated; Raphael finds the mere idea ridiculous, but his frequent lapses of memory, and the power he finds himself displaying at times of stress, finally force him to accept this fact - and run like hell from a destiny he refuses to take part in.

A medieval-fantasy tale. Herbert is a low-level demon with low powers and low intelligence; his only real power is a rare shape-shifting ability that allows him to mimic a human being with such perfection that he's virtually the same as a real one. It comes in handy when he finds out he's failed to send any souls to Hell since the dawn of the world, and has to walk into the village of the Holy Birch - where demons normally can't stand to step into - and hide from his impending execution among humans. He thinks he's fooling everyone, but, truth be told, he's the biggest fool of all.
