So when you’re trying to blame human fraility you say the portugues version of “estoy humano?” rather than “soy humano” which would mean I am a homo sapien?
Well, I’m not sure if I get what you’re saying, but my logic went by “estoy humano = I’m human now (but not always)” rather than “soy humano = I’m human (and thus frail/imperfect)” which would be how I’d put it in portuguese.
