Hi Elanor. It's nearly a year since the hiatus started. I've been voting for the comic(s) in the hope that hey would return. Can we assume that you have given up on them or do you intend to take them up again sometime?
With my best wishes,
Chris.

Hi Elanor. Not wanting to push you but I am really missing Sinful. Do you have any idea if or when you will pick up the story again? With best wishes, Chris.
BTW, I never thanked you for the music. My apologies for that. Thank you.
BTW 2. Have a look at http://tiny.cc/breitenfurt/ . I''ve some night photos there.

I'm really sorry I never sat down to type this comment a decent answer! But trust me, it really made my day, in many days. I JUST finished my essay, and am giving myself a rest before starting my life back up.

You have no idea how happy it makes me to know someone enjoys my characters like this, and takes the time to put those thoughts down. Between the two of us, though, I actually love hero demons in a path of redemption... but most of the time they're so stale and angsty! Like redemption somehow was a thing you crave for breakfast, and to get it you have to make this long boring journey of putting on a tattered cape and walking into the sunset with a frowny face. B O R I N G! There's so much more you can do with this theme and yet so many writers choose to take the same beaten road. That's what pushed me to write Sinful in the first place. As a demon protagonist living among peaceful humans, there's no way Herbert won't find redemption - but he'll find it in a kitchen, while baking bread, and he won't have any idea what it is. That's my self-imposed challenge.

My deviantart has been pretty much dead lately. Updating it is such a pain! But I have a tumblr now. It's mostly Homestuck sketching and reblogging, though, because Homestuck is what kept me sane these two last months. XD; here it is: elanorpam.tumblr.com And I hope things worked out with your assignment!

By the way, because of the site move which I mentioned in the picture above, and which was already underway before this stuff happened, there's a chance this wonderful comment you left me will be left sitting here alone, one of the last remnants of an era of terrible layouts gone by. When I moved the site content I made sure to preserve the comments, but you posted yours a few days after the move was done, so... could you maybe copy/paste it on the new site or something? XD; it's here - NEW SITE - and it's still in its skeletal stage as I had to drop the layout coding like it was hot... but as far as I'm aware all the essentials are there and it's fully navigatable.

Thanks for the thoughtful comment. It really did mean a lot to me.

I meant to comment earlier but have been preparing for an exhibition. And now someone has said it all for me (apart from the fact that I haven't been a uni student for some 40 years now). But in a way one is always a student in the university of life and am still learning (and forgetting). Good luck with your essay. I will continue voting daily as I have since first coming across your awesome story and look forward to the day when you can take it up again.

It's weird to be commenting on a hiatus page, but ah well...

Why doesn't this comic have more comments and fans? This is such a fantastic story with a fantastic main character (can't exactly call him a hero, and he doesn't even fall under anti-hero in my opinion). I don't know about the plot, but I find the villagers all so endearing and well-characterized that I can't help but feel for them. I'm found of nearly everyone with the exception of Theo, but that's because he's, well, Theo. Everyone else, from the main players like Herbert and Nancy and Beatrice, to the minor ones like Catherine and Papa Blacksmith, are so lifelike and realistic that I'm drawn to this comic more and more. Especially Herbert. I applaud you for making him a jerk; there are too many comics with anti-hero demons who are all for redemption and that stuff, and it's rare to see someone portray a demon as the MAIN character while keeping him demonic. Extra stars for his move on Salome in the forest a few pages ago!!

All the best for your essay! I'm a uni student myself, and I know what you mean by deadlines suddenly popping up out of nowhere. As it stands, I have an assignment due in a week that I've barely started, and I had 8 weeks to get started on it. Considering that the term is 13 weeks long, that is a LONG time. Take a hiatus and show that essay who's the real boss around here. I've been a fan of your work on deviantArt, and I am SO GLAD that you've got a webcomic for me to enjoy.

Sorry for the super long comment. Tl;dr, this is an amazing webcomic and you've got a fan who's willing to wait it out for more.
