Raphael
A high school student, son of a single mother. He’s introverted and calm, usually keeping his thoughts to himself.
Raphael was told he’s the reincarnation of an evil god. He’d rather not believe that. However, he does displays unexplainable powers, and they manifest on their own to physically protect him. He has yet to use them at will.
Alexia
Raphael’s young and single mother. Raphael always thought she’d been abandoned by his father, but the truth may be worse than that.
She was somehow able to evade a widespread cult for 16 years.
William Oswald
A high-school teacher who took Raphael in after finding him sick on the streets.
Why he’d risk his own security for someone he hardly knows, Raph still doesn’t know; all he knows is that Oswald is not a part of the cult and has no particular reason to want him around.
Larissa Oswald
William’s daughter. She’s a strange girl, completely unconcerned with Raph’s presence in her house.
She’s level-headed and nearly unflappable, and seems to find some amusement in Raphael’s problems.
Danny
William’s brother-in-law, and a private investigator. He looked into Raph’s circumstances when William found him, and now serves as his confidant of sorts.
He seems to be investigating the cult pursuing Raph.
Edward
Raphael’s schoolmate, who witnessed his powers by accident. His mother lives in Peru.
"God"
Either a mysterious entity existing in Raphael’s head, or his wayward powers twisting his mind.
Raphael only retains faded and disconnected memories of what he does when he’s taken over.
