Guess who’s back!
The hiatus ended up stretching for far longer than I had originally planned, and I was unable to upload the illustrations as I had promised I would; for that, I apologize. Some of the delay was caused by my poorly-thought-out decision to create my own hand-drawn comic font, one that matched the comic’s look better than the one I currently use… so I wasted a couple of weeks on writing, re-writing, scanning, vectorizing, adjusting, poking around at a font program, testing, fixing, re-testing, re-fixing and saving hijinks, and in the end the font just wasn’t any good. It’s usable, it’s readable, but it just looked weird in the speech bubbles – so I’ll stick to Digital Strip for now and just get on with my life.
Completion status for the current chapter: 7 pages finished and 21 written of a projected 35 total. Good enough to start with.
